Celebrating the 20 Years of Shenten Dargye Ling

On the occasion of Shenten Dargye Ling’s 20th anniversary, we are deeply honored to welcome His Holiness the 34th Menri Trizin, who will teach on the “Twelve Small Tantras” and confer the sacred initiation of Zhang Zhung Meri.

This exceptional event carries profound spiritual significance for Shenten Dargye Ling. However, it also involves specific costs, including covering the Abbot’s travel expenses (airfare, train, etc.), ritual objects required for the initiation, and various logistical expenses.

In the Tibetan tradition, teachings and initiations are not "charged for" in the conventional sense. Participants typically show their gratitude by offering donations—whether in money, food, or services. In this spirit, we invite you to contribute freely, with a suggested amount of €100 per person, based on our calculations.

This suggested amount helps us ensure the financial balance of the event while respecting the traditional practices. However, we wish to emphasize that participation is open to everyone, and you are welcome to adjust the amount according to your means when registering.

We deeply appreciate your generosity and support, which make it possible for us to host such esteemed teachers and continue our mission.

This contribution applies to the single day of the initiation and can be compared to teaching costs. It does not include other retreat expenses such as accommodation, meals, or teaching fees for the remaining days.
